About the Fellowship

In line with African Youth Month 2026, The African Leadership Initiatives for Impact (ALII) is organizing the 1st Edition of the One Africa Young Leaders Fellowship, taking place from 1–8 November 2026 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Held under the theme “Bridging Intergenerational Leadership for One Africa's Shared Future,” the fellowship will bring together senior young leaders from across the continent for an immersive one-week residential platform focused on leadership, dialogue, knowledge exchange, networking and collaboration in shaping One Africa's shared future.

The fellowship seeks young Africans who are actively contributing to their communities, organizations, professions, businesses, movements or broader society and who demonstrate a strong commitment to leadership and One Africa's shared future.

Selected fellows will have the opportunity to engage with diverse African leaders and peers, exchange experiences and ideas across generations, explore emerging challenges and opportunities facing the continent, and build meaningful networks for continued collaboration beyond the fellowship.

We are looking for purpose-driven, innovative, community-minded and forward-looking young Africans who are ready not only to learn, but also to contribute their experiences, perspectives and ideas to a Pan-African leadership community.
