3rd National Forum on Youth, Peace and Security 2026

In line with the commemoration of the International Day of Peace 2026, we welcome you to the 3rd National Forum on Youth, Peace and Security (YPS) Agenda from 18–20 September 2026 at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre (JNICC), Dar es Salaam, under the theme “Invest in Peace”.

The forum is organized by The African Leadership Initiatives for Impact (ALII) in collaboration with the Youth4Peace Agenda Coalition Partners, with technical support and guidance from the President's Office – Youth Development and the Ministry of Youth Employment and Empowerment – Zanzibar.

The forum will bring together 1,000 youth leaders, policymakers, government institutions, civil society organizations, development partners, academia, the private sector, and peacebuilding practitioners to engage in meaningful dialogue and collaborative action on youth, peace, and security.

This year's discussions will focus on strengthening youth participation in decision-making, economic empowerment, social cohesion, peacebuilding, digital safety, and other critical issues affecting young people and national development.
